Spinning was prompt and quality was excellent

Customer service was absolutely fantastic, and the return was extremely quick. I'm very excited to have the dogs' fur made into yarn to knit with! I was kept up to date on each skein's weight and yardage, and as I chose not to get all of it spun, Nancy sent the extra fiber back to me with the skeins! Though absolutely NO fault of Nancy's, just a heads up to prospective buyers--I knew handspun yarn was denser, but I didn't realize the oz to yard ratio was so different from machine spun. For instance, for one skein I got about 110 yards for 3.9oz of fur, mixed 50/50 with merino. Just something to be aware of when deciding how much to collect and send in!

I commissioned Spinnit to spin my 0.45 oz of semi-longhair cat fur to braid up in kumihimo. Sorry to sound like a 5 star bot, but this is the kind of customer experience you want to have: 1) fast & responsive to customer questions 2) quick turn-around of product/best price 3) seems to be of excellent quality* *This artisan turned my fur around, and it's my own fault if I don't get it braided in time for xmas---really impressed. The $9.20 in shipping I paid was *all shipping*. She insisted on charging only for the part-fraction of the ounce. AFICT, the fibers are tightly and evenly spun as I requested, but I still need to actually braid them. ---Will definitely try to do a better job saving fur (& not letting it felt, v important!) next time. Recommend this vendor for price, quality & turnaround for your pet-spinning needs

Nancy spun my chow-chow mix's fur beautifully. I'm very happy with the results and can't wait to knit a hat and scarf from it. Nancy was a great communicator and helped me through the process. I will be sending more fur to her in the future. Highly recommend!

Great communication from start to finish of this transaction. Nancy explained how the process worked and where to send dog’s hair. As soon as she received it she made different samples with and without added wool and I chose from the photograph she sent of the samples which I’d like her to spin. As soon as yarn was done she sent it out and I received it within a few days. Entire process from my initial message to her, to me receiving it back was about two weeks. Recommend Spinnit!
